Red Bank, NJ-based K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Gold Hill will have 307 homes on 80 acres near Interstate 77 in Fort Mill Township, according to published reports. The development also includes a fitness center, putting green, tennis courts, pool and driving range. Construction of model homes starts next month. A four million, 10,000 sf clubhouse is scheduled to be completed by June.

Rock Hill developer Greg Whitehead of Cornerstone Development of the Carolinas Inc. bought the 80 acres and is selling 72 of them to K. Hovnanian for the residential development. The rest will be used for commercial development. Development is expected to start within five years. The land prices and pre-construction sales were not disclosed.

Some 190 of the 307 homes in the residential part will be single-family houses. The rest are expected to be townhomes. Single-family homes will range from 1,600 sf to 2,400 sf and start at $180,000. The townhomes will be up to 2,500 sf and start at $160,000.

The development is among 15 K. Hovnanian communities with the Four Seasons name along the Eastern Seaboard.
