The Anaheim-based group, which is led by senior vice president Jeff Moore, has been awarded four new assignments for retail projects that will encompass a combined 695,000 sf upon completion. The projects are Summit Heights Gateway, Marketplace at Ontario Center, Clinton Oaks Village Center and French Valley Marketplace.
Located in North Fontana, Summit Heights will encompass 265,000 sf upon completion. Slated to open in early 2003, the retail center will be anchored by Kohl's and Marshall's. It is being developed by Lewis Retail Centers, as is Marketplace at Ontario Center. Phase I of the 230,000-sf Marketplace at Ontario Center is nearly completed and CB's Focus Retail Group has already secured Banner Mattress, Verizon, Arco and Subway as tenants. Construction on the project's second phase will begin in Summer 2002.
A joint venture partnership between Regency Centers and Silver Creek Properties is developing Clinton Oaks Village Center and French Valley Marketplace. The 100,000-sf Clinton Oaks complex will rise at the southeast corner of Clinton Keith Road and California Oaks Road. Construction on the project is scheduled for late 2002. The French Valley Marketplace, which will also encompass 100,000 sf, is scheduled for a Winter 2003 groundbreaking. It will rise at the northeast corner of Winchester and Benton.
