Sun offers space in four single-story, tilt-wall buildings in the Parmer Business Park, including 43,843 sf in Building A, which Sun will vacate in January. Building A, which is available at a short-term lease, accommodates 227 employees and has 3,000 sf of laboratory space. The other space is 42,537 sf in Building E, 36,435 in Building F and 28,322 in Building D. Those spaces are available with long-term leases. Tempco Partners owns the buildings. Sun retains 113,000 sf and a 38-acre parcel adjacent to the buildings for future development of a corporate campus.

Jamil Alam, Trammell Crow principal, and Chad Marsh, senior vice president, are in charge of marketing the properties. "With the many sublease options available in the market today, we expect this single-story office product to compete favorably from a value perspective," Alam said in a statement.

Sun, based in Palo Alto, CA, opened the property in January intending to establish a major research and development center in Austin. At the time, Sun said it expected to occupy 300,000 sf with room for 1,000 employees. Sun's sales, along with those of most other technology companies, have slowed with the rest of the economy, prompting the company to cut back on expansion plans.
