Development Attorney Is Newest Welsh Broker

ST. PAUL, MN-The former city council member has been involved with a number of public development agencies, including the St. Paul Port Authority and St. Paul Housing and Redevelopment Authority.

ST. PAUL, MN-Bob Long, a former member of the city council, has been hired by the Welsh Cos. to work in development and brokerage services in the firm’s St. Paul and eastern metropolitan office. Prior to joining Welsh, Long was a partner in the law firm of Kennedy & Graven, where he specialized in representing municipalities and city and county economic development agencies.

Long served as city council member from 1988 to 1994. He has also been a commissioner of the St. Paul Port Authority, a member of the St. Paul Housing and Redevelopment Authority (now RiverCentre Authority) and president of the League of Minnesota Cities and the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities.
