Located off Route 1 at the center of Beltsville's Industrial Park, the building was constructed in 1968 and sits on 89,358 sf of land in the College Park area. Former owner Duron is making a $1 million profit on the sale of the structure. The paint company acquired the property nearly seven years ago from Campbell Co. Inc. for $1.3 million in May of 1995. Bethesda, MD's Commercial Brokers LLC and the Ross Property Group closed the deal on behalf of the cosmetics firm.

Explaining why smaller organizations choose to rely on smaller firms like Commercial Brokers, company Vice President Nick Propps explains in a statement, "We excel because we serve a niche market, which many mega-companies do not want to serve, or do not serve well." Propps says. "In today's mega-merging corporate world, small companies seem to get lost in the shuffle. We gain many of our clients because they are tired of the poor service they received from large corporations. Some refer to it as having been trapped in a voice mail world. We have always had a personal approach to our business and we will continue this philosophy during the years ahead.
