Levin also announced that the state will receive more than $31 million for military construction projects.
Among the projects are $13.3 million for the Total Army Schools System, Instruction/Administrative Barracks/Mess Hall, located at Fort Custer; $9.5 million for an Air National Guard Munitions Maintenance Complex at Battle Creek Air National Guard Base; $2.9 million was included for Clear Zone land acquisition at Selfridge Air National Guard Base of Harrison Township; and $5.8 million for the Lansing Combined Support Maintenance Shop. The facility will be the major maintenance site for vehicles, weapons and radios in Michigan.
