Ned Kelly's-Ned Devine's Restaurant Sets Out to Clone Itself

HERNDON, VA-Ned Kelly’s-Ned Devine’s restaurant has contracted JBG Rosenfeld Retail (JBGR), its tenant representative, to search Virginia’s Fairfax and Loudoun Counties for spaces in which to open additional dining locations. JBGR is keeping its eyes open for retail spaces of 5,000 to 8,000 sf in size.

The flagship site—whose name combines Australian folk hero Ned Kelly and the 1998 movie “Waking Ned Devine”–opened in January 2000 in the Village Center at Dulles. “As a unique pub concept with both Australian and Irish influences, it has garnered quite a following, resulting in the need to expand in this market,” JBGR Principal Grant Ehat explains in a press release. “We are confident that, by leveraging our knowledge of the marketplace and long-standing relationships with other shopping center owners and managers, we’ll be able to identify additional locations that will be equally lucrative.
