Doubletree Club Hotel Opens at JFK Airport

JAMAICA, NY-Hilton Hotels Corp. marks its first venture into the New York metro market with the opening of a 110-room Doubletree Club Hotel near JFK Airport. Hersha Hospitality Management will run the property under a franchise agreement with Hilton Hotels Corporation.

JAMAICA, NY-Hilton Hotels Corp. has opened the doors of its new 110-room Doubletree Club Hotel JFK Airport, located at 156-08 Rockaway Blvd. in Jamaica, NY. The hotel is operated by an affiliate of Hersha Hospitality Management.

Amenities at the five-story structure include three 800-sf meeting rooms, a 24-hour, self-service business center, complimentary airport shuttle service and a fitness center. Perhaps most significantly, guests at the property are greeted with a package of Doubletree’s signature homemade chocolate chip cookies.

The hotel also offers work desks, adjustable lighting, ergonomic chairs, phone lines coupled with T1 data ports and free incoming faxes. Its location places the hotel 12 miles from downtown Manhattan and six miles from several Long Island beaches.
