TolerRx Leases 37,643 SF at Technology Square

CAMBRIDGE, MA-TolerRx leases 37,463 sf of space at 300 Technology Square, part of the 1.1 million sf complex owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The deal is welcome in a market that has seen its vacancy and availability rates shoot up over the past year.

CAMBRIDGE, MA-In what is being touted as the largest lab lease completed here in the fourth quarter, TolerRx has leased 37,463 sf of space at 300 Technology Square. The space enables the biopharmaceutical company to triple in size and will serve as the firm’s headquarters.

The building is located within Technology Square, a 1.1 million square foot complex that is owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A number of high-tech companies lease space in the complex including Forrester Research, Akamai and Dyax. Bob Richards, president of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, represented TolerRx in the transaction while Steve Lynch of InsigniaESG represented MIT.
