The mixed-use office and retail building, which was developed in 1985, is located near Routes 93 and 95 and totals 55,000 sf. According to Richard McKinnon, director of brokerage services for The Grossman Companies, the lease is for direct space. Acme Packet, which has its headquarters in Woburn, will use the space as its regional sales office.
Brad Spencer of Grubb Ellis represented Acme Packet while McKinnon, represented The Grossman Companies. Established in August 2000, Acme Packet is a privately held company. The company recently raised $16 million of second round funding with its investors including Beachhead Capital, Canaan Partners, Menlo Ventures and private investors.
