"The greater Washington market is an excellent global home for Acterna Corp.," company president John Peeler says in a statement. "Since we have such a significant management and employee presence already in Germantown, it made sense to locate our corporate headquarters here as well."

Later this year, both Acterna Corp. headquarters and Acterna will relocate to a new location in Germantown's Milestone Business Park, which is located at the intersection of Interstate 270 and Ridge Road. The organization's new campus -- which is currently under construction -- sits on 44 acres of land and will offer a manufacturing center, as well as a 130,000-sf multi-use structure to house office space and networking labs. Milestone Industrial LC is behind the building's development and will lease the space to Acterna upon completion.
