SDG said it made the move to Austin because of its central location and favorable business climate. The company develops custom software, provides project management and other information technology services.
The Phillips Building, located at 105 E. Congress, was built in 1900 and renovated in 2000. It has 16,000 sf. A company spokesman could not provide information on its broker. Al Ranney of Al Ranney & Associates, the building owner, handled talks for his side of the deal. The Phillips building is one of two buildings on its block that will remain intact with the construction of Cousins Properties Inc.'s 525,000-sf Fourth and Congress building, now under construction.
