Internet2 Incubation Center Online Soon

ANN ARBOR, MI-A technology center here will house development teams for new online information network in A2. The state has issued request for proposals to build the "Internet2" center.

ANN ARBOR, MI-A request for proposals has been issued for the construction of the state’s new Michigan Technology Center. The center will focus on what is known as “Internet1,” a private-public sector partnership whose goal is to create a faster electronic network than offered by the present Internet.

The University Corporation for Advanced Internet Development, the non-profit organization supporting Internet2, will be housed in the new center.
