The largest transaction was with Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP, which expanded its presence in the EastRidge portfolio by leasing an additional 6,053 sf at 3 Gannett Drive in White Plains. Frederick Kane Marek of Julien J. Studley, Inc. represented the tenant in the deal, which brought the company's leased space with EastRidge to approximately 66,000 sf.
Other deals of note include: real estate brokerage firm Nelson Vrooman & Associates, Inc., which renewed with EastRidge Properties for 1,650 sf. at 709 Westchester Ave., in White Plains and Liberty Brokerage Investment Corp., which signed a lease at 108 Corporate Park Drive in White Plains for 5,522 sf. Stephen Baker of Cushman & Wakefield of CT, Inc. represented the tenant in that transaction.
Other new tenants at EastRidge Properties are: H.R. Technologies, Inc., which leased 3,004 sf at 2700 Westchester Ave., in Purchase; Your Home Direct.com, which leased 1,393 sf at 707 Westchester Ave., in White Plains and Steven Sundheim & Associates, LLC, which leased 2,608 sf at 1025 Westchester Ave., in White Plains.
Christopher B. O'Callaghan of McCarthy O'Callaghan represented the tenant in the H.R. Technologies deal, Paul Kramer of Harbour Commercial Real Estate, Inc. represented Your Home Direct.com and Richard Rakow of Rakow Commercial Realty Group, Inc. represented Steven Sundheim & Associates, LLC, in its transaction with EastRidge.
Fran Delgorio, director of leasing and marketing for EastRidge Properties, said that the company did see some increased tenant interest in relation to the terrorist attack on New York City on Sept. 11. However, the firm could only assist several small companies secure space at the portfolio since most of its office space was already spoken for.
Delgorio comments that EastRidge expects leasing activity to remain "slow but steady" in 2002 at its portfolio of office properties.
