37,599-SF Courthouse Center Goes for $3.6 Million

MANASSAS, VA-Annandale, Virginia’s RG Acquisitions has purchased the Courthouse Professional Center from Austin, Texas’s Ontra, Inc. for $3.6 million. A complex consisting of a three-story, 37,599-sf structure and a restaurant, Courthouse is fully leased and predominantly occupied by Prince William County probationary offices, including the 31st District’s Juvenile Court Services Unit, the Office of Criminal Justice Services, and the County Police Department Personnel Bureau.

Located at 9540-9550 Center Street, the center sits near the County Courthouse and the IBM/Toshiba Semiconductor facility. The Wiley Companies handled the transaction for both parties involved, and will stay on to handle the building’s leasing activities. Rector Construction Company, in a joint venture called Rector/Thomas General Partnership, completed the building in 1989. The structure, which boasts a 20-ft high lobby, is actually two separate buildings connected by a second-floor catwalk.
