Meristar Names New Senior VP of Sales

WASHINGTON, DC-Hotel management company MeriStar Hotels & Resorts has announced the promotion of Sean C. Worker to senior vice president of sales. Worker joined MeriStar in October 2001 as vice president, sales. He will take on direction of sales activities at the company’s 222 managed hotels, and will lead a team of nine sales vice presidents and national account directors.

A resident of the US for only 11 years, Worker has wasted no time making a splash in the real estate industry. He spent time at Houston Texas’s Medallion Group of Hotels and Addison, Texas-based Bristol Hotels & Resorts. Carol McCune of Daly Gray Public Relations tells GlobeSt.com that before joining MeriStar, Worker served as the former COO of Maxxim Hotels, which is also headquartered in Addison, Texas.
