New Class A Office Complex Underway in Concord

CONCORD, CA-The Metroplex Office Centre will include twin 10-story towers providing upward of 475,000-sf of office space. Owner Sierra Pacific is developing the project on a speculative basis.

CONCORD, CA-A new office complex has broken ground in Concord near Waterworld Parkway. The Metroplex Office Centre will be two 10-story towers containing 475,000-sf of office space on Willow Pass Road. The first tower will be completed this year.

“Each structure will contain 237,250 square feet of office space and will feature two story entry lobbies with Italian marble walls and floors,” notes Carl Campos, president of the project’s design firm of Loving & Campos Architects Inc. in Walnut Creek. The buildings’ tenants will have a view of Sunvalley Shopping Center and most of the city.

The owner, Sierra pacific, which also owns the 600,000-sf Gateway Towers, Concord’s largest office development, has yet to sign any tenants, but Sierra vice president Doug Messner doesn’t seem worried. Scott Ellis, a senior veep with Colliers International, has the leasing assignment.
