Lennar is developing the 240-acre project in Hazard Construction Co. is the paving contractor for several miles of public streets. Completion of the roadwork is slated for April 2002.

The offsite improvements project, costing approximately $1 million, includes the widening of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard by about 10 feet at the Ruffin Road intersection. It also includes median enhancements and traffic signal work. The project also includes work at the intersections of Shawline and Complex at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.

Mark Finrow is serving as the project manager for Hazard, with Rick Halm as onsite superintendent. J.T. Kruer & Associates is the construction manager.

Major subcontractors include Select Electric, H&D Concrete and T.C. Construction.
