Industry Kudos Doled Out During Ceremony

SAN DIEGO-In its first such awards ceremony for the commercial real estate industry, the San Diego chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties has named Cheryl (Dennie) Smith, president of Smith consulting Architects, as its architect of the year.

SAN DIEGO-The San Diego chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties has named Cheryl (Dennie) Smith, president of Smith Consulting Architects, as its architect of the year.

Smith Consulting Architects won awards during “The Finest Awards” program hosted by NAIOP, which drew 300 guests at the Hilton San Diego Resort on Mission Bay. The program was designed to pay tribute to San Diego¹s commercial real estate industry.

Six awards were presented to individuals who have made contributions to the industry, including Contractor of the Year, Architect of the Year, Broker of the Year, Member of the Year, Developer of the Year and the Mikey Carhart Lifetime Achievement Award.
