Residence Inn Opens in Midtown

ATLANTA-The Midtown 160-room hotel was converted from a vacant office building by Atlanta developer Songy Partners Ltd. Maryland-based Crestline Hotels & Resorts will manage the property.

This is the eighth hotel Crestline manages in metropolitan Atlanta. The others are conference centers, such as the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center, and three Residence Inns.

Atlanta-based Songy Partners Limited developed the property, converting a vacant office building located between 16th Street and 17th Street. Converting an existing building was more cost-effective than building from scratch, the company says in a prepared statement.
