The San Diego office of Denver-based ISEC Inc. has been awarded a $4 million contract for the design, engineering, procurement and installation of interior finishes and specialty features for the expansion and remodeling of the existing two-story, 200,000-sf casino at 46-200 Harrison Place.

Phoenix-based builder Hunt Construction Group, with Dan Holmberg serving as construction manager, is the main contractor. Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts is the developer of the $58 million project for the 29 Palms Band of Mission Indians. Completion is slated for August.

The main casino will include fabric ceiling elements, including 30-foot-tall sails, as well as a 1,400-sf "twinkle wall" using imported and domestic art glass. Other special features include 18-foot-tall fiberglass "martini glass" column wraps; 15-to-25-foot-wide discs featuring digitally imprinted imagery in the main circulation area, and preserved natural palms and faux topiary trees.

Patrick Willette is serving as principal-in-charge for ISEC Inc., with Allan Ashmore as project manager. Thomas J. O¹Conner of Atlantic City-based SOSH is the project architect.
