Trump Hotels Begins $58-Mil Casino Revamp

SAN DIEGO-Trump Hotels' Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella has started a $58 million renovation and expansion that should be complete by August.

SAN DIEGO-A $58 million expansion and remodeling is under way for Trump Hotels’ Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella.

The San Diego office of Denver-based ISEC Inc. has been awarded a $4 million contract for the design, engineering, procurement and installation of interior finishes and specialty features for the expansion and remodeling of the existing two-story, 200,000-sf casino at 46-200 Harrison Place.

Phoenix-based builder Hunt Construction Group, with Dan Holmberg serving as construction manager, is the main contractor. Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts is the developer of the $58 million project for the 29 Palms Band of Mission Indians. Completion is slated for August.
