On the Transpennine Trading Estate in the Manchester suburb of Rochdale, Tibbett & Britten has sold Unit 2 Queensway, a purpose built distribution depot of 89,287 sf on a site of 7.1 acres. The property was sold for £2.364 million ($3.4 million), subject to a leaseback at £275,000 ($400,000) per annum, on a 10 year lease with tenant options to break at the end of the fifth and eighth years. The purchaser, Drumdean Limited, was represented by Riddell & Partners of Manchester.

And on the Bellshill Industrial Estate Glasgow, Tibbett & Britten has completed a sale and leaseback deal with the acquisitive private investor Topland Group on a purpose built distribution depot of 117,000 sf on a 7.75-acre site. The property was sold fort £4.35 million ($6.25 million), subject to a 16-year leaseback at a rental for the first five years of £360,000 ($520,000) per annum.
