New Name Sticks for Football Field

DENVER-A district court judge dismisses restaurant owner and urban developer John Hickenlooper's year-old case attempting to keep the name Mile High Stadium on the Denver Broncos' new Invesco Field at Mile High.

DENVER-The $400-million professional football stadium will keep the name Invesco Field at Mile High. Denver District Court Judge Gloria Rivera dismissed a year-old case led by Denver restaurant owner and urban developer John Hickenlooper.

Hickenlooper wanted to retain the name Mile High Stadium.

Invesco, a large mutual family that recently moved into its new headquarters in the Denver Technological Family, agreed to pay $120 million for the naming rights for the home of the Denver Broncos.
