CarAtlanta Pays Chicago's Hartmarx $7 per SF for 200,000-SF Building

ATLANTA-The locally based auto firm paid the clothier $1.4 million but hasn't disclosed plans for the Longanville, GA Property on U.S. 78, 20 miles northeast of Downtown.

CarAtlanta hasn't disclosed plans for the site. Hartmarx sold the property as surplus real estate.

Hartmarx makes men's suits and tailored clothing. Under parent company, Hart Schaffner & Marx, the company is also licensed to produce casual apparel for premium labels such as Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Perry Ellis and other top designers.
