Insignia Snags Shorenstein Brokers for Metlife, French Buildings

New York City-Having scored the managing and leasing assignments for the properties, Insignia hires the pair away from prior management Shorenstein Properties to continue as leasing agents for the buildings.

New York City-As part of its transition to the role of managing and leasing agents for the MetLife and Fred F. French buildings, Jon Zuckerman and Keith Caggiano have been hired by Insignia/ESG to continue leasing space at the properties. The pair has directed leasing initiatives at both locations for the past two years under Shorenstein Properties, which held previous management.

Late last year, the two properties were the focus of intense speculation regarding new management after Shorenstein decided to drop the account. Management firms reportedly vying for the assignment included Jones Lang LaSalle, Cushman & Wakefield, Newmark, and CB Richard Ellis, in addition to Insignia.

Hired by Insignia as a senior managing director, Zuckerman brings 21 years of real estate experience to the firm, most recently serving as regional leasing director/senior vice president of the Shorenstein Co. Caggiano, brought in as a director, began his career at Jones Lang LaSalle and moved to Shorenstein with Zuckerman.
