SMS Expands with InfoStream Acquisition

ORANGE, CA-Orange-based SMS Settlement Services Inc. continues to grow, as other businesses in the county are scaling back. The company, which provides software to the title and escrow industry, says its recent acquisition of InfoStream will give clients a wider range of options.

ORANGE, CA-As businesses across the county have been scaling back in the face of the national recession, Orange-based SMS, Settlement Services Inc. has expanded with the acquisition of InfoStream Inc. of Tacoma, WA.

SMS, which provides software to the title and escrow industry, says the acquisition will provide clients with a wider range of options. For example, SMS will now own Streamline, InfoStream’s premier software. Streamline is an integrated suite of products encompassing title production, escrow closing and trust accounting. “The addition of InfoStream and its Streamline software suite provides SMS with a unique opportunity to increase market share and cross selling opportunities, while complementing our software offerings in the national market,” says Larry Davidson, president of SMS.
