The properties to be sold include five Georgetown buildings built by Jack Benaroya. They total about 70,000-sf and were sold to CalSTERS, the California Public Employees Retirement System and Trammell Crow in 1984. The buildings to be sold include: 601 S. Snoqualmie St., 515 S. Michigan St. 5501 S. Sixth St., 609 S. Brandon St. and 527 S. Brandon St.
Bill Williams, head of the Seattle Lend Lease office, confirmed the transaction today. Williams said an additional 1 million sf, also part of the Benaroya holdings, will be on the market soon. He declined to be more specific.
Brad Knowles of Cushman & Wakefield and Matt Little of Westlake Associates will market the properties. Tom Abbott, also of Cushman & Wakefield and Reynolds Haas will help market the additional 1 million sf.
