Liberty Catering has built a strong business in its three years of existence, according to Littlefield. "This acquisition represents another positive move toward strengthening our hospitality unit," Jeffrey Minch, Littlefield's CEO, says in a press release. He assured the "smoothest transition" possible for Liberty's customers. Lou Lambert is the owner of Liberty Catering.

It's the second move in a week by Littlefield to bolster its hospitality trade. Littlefield recently signed a deal to use the Allan House, a historic building in the CBD, for events such as parties and receptions. Austin-based Littlefield operates bingo halls and other entertainment-related offerings including catering and party services.
