The property, located west of Interstate 5 near the confluence of Southwest Barber Street and Boberg Road. The seller is a Wilsonville-based general partnership operating under the name Our Associates. The price, which works out to a little more than $230,000 per acre, was set by an independent appraisal. The brokers involved in the deal, if any, were not immediately available.

The property would be the southern end of the line and be used for a station, a park-and-ride, and as a location for maintenance and storage. The commuter line would run along freight lines parallel to Interstate 5 and Oregon 217, and connect Clackamas and Washington counties. The train would make stops in Wilsonville, Tualatin, Tigard and the Beaverton Transit Center peak travel hours in the morning and evening.
