This dividend combined with the previous dividends paid to shareholders in 2001 represents an annualized dividend yield of 8.3%.
The dividend will be paid on Jan. 30 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 31, 2001. The company does not release its earnings until later.
The real estate investment trust said its revenues are derived primarily from interest income earned from loans to churches and other non-profit religious organizations.
