The Natick, MA-based retailer bought the land from Commonwealth Investment Real Estate Company LLC. The company plans to build a 108,000 sf facility. Construction is under way. BJ's expects to have the store open by September.
Hanover Square is a 129,987 sf center anchored by a Ukrop's grocery store and a Kohl's department store located at Route 360 and I-295 in Mechanicsville.
C. Lee Warfield III and Larry R. Agnew of Insignia Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations for the seller.
