The first phase of development will involve 269,188 sf, and it will total more than 1.37 million sf of offices, manufacturing space and laboratories at build out.
The commission approved a conditional-use permit for the project last fall. However, county officials wanted to review the elevations, materials and colors.
The 60-acre campus is part of the 400-acre Ocean Ranch Corporate Centre north of Avenida de la Plata and west of College Boulevard. IDEC specializes in the research, development and manufacturing of anti-cancer and anti- inflammatory drugs.
The first phase of the project is expected to be ready for move-in sometime next year.
