Cisco completed shells on three of the seven buildings it was developing here before deciding to delay the project. "The plan now is to build up the three buildings that are already under construction," Mojgan Khalili, spokesperson for Cisco, tells GlobeSt.com. The other four buildings, she says, are still on hold.
Khalili notes that the completion date for this first phase of the campus is 18 to 24 months from now. "The idea is the buildings will be ready once the other campuses will need to move in," she says. As to why the company has decided to restart the project with the economy still in doubt, Khalili points out, "The buildings will take a couple of years to complete. It makes sense to move forward on completing these buildings."
