ORLANDO-The 21-year-old, landmark neighborhood El Bohio Café Restaurant has new owners today. Sergio and Hortensia Urena, operators of the IPN Deli in lower Manhattan, paid Edward Costa $190,000 or $82.60 per sf for the 2,300-sf, 90-seat property at 5758 Dahlia Dr., near the East-West Expressway.

The Urenas will continue to operate their New York restaurant. Costa and his family have operated El Bohio since the restaurant opened in 1980. The sales price equates to $2,111 per seat.

James K. Densmore of Signature Realty & Development brokered the transaction. Densmore is the former vice president of operations with Darden Restaurants’ Red Lobster and Olive Garden divisions.
