Owned and developed by Recycland, LLC--a real estate company that specializes in the acquisition and refurbishment of environmentally impaired properties--the one-story La-Z-Boy structure sits at 10900 Lee Highway, just down the street from its former location at 10960 Lee Highway. The locale is the only non-contaminated property in the Recycland's portfolio. "It has no environmental issues," company managing partner Stuart Schooler tells GlobeSt.com. "It was well located real estate." He adds that the structure also offers "a reinforced foundation and footers to accommodate rooftop parking; a decision that benefits [everyone concerned]."
Dulles, VA-based Tucon Construciton Corporation served as contractors for the masonry and precast building, which was designed by Cole and Russell Inc. of Ohio.
