For Infonet, a company providing global communications services to multinational enterprises, the move represents an expansion of its western regional offices in the United States.
Infonet's decision to purchase Grand Avenue Corporate Center demonstrates both the continued demand for high quality office space in West Los Angeles and Infonet's commitment to the marketplace, according to Paul Marshall, senior vice president of real estate development for Opus West.
Steve Cramer of Colliers Seeley in Torrance represented Infonet in the transaction. David Drummond and Eric Lastition of Colliers Seeley in the Torrance office and Craig Meyer in the West Los Angeles office represented Opus West.
Opus West originally purchased the land for Grand Avenue Corporate Center in July 2000. The company started development in January 2001 and completed it in September 2001. Opus West Construction Corporation served as the general contractor with Nadel Partners designing the complex.
In addition to Grand Avenue Corporate Center, Opus West's Southern California region currently has developments in Westlake Village, Rancho Cucamonga, Irvine and Chino.
