''I'm going to have one of my best years ever, and I won't even be here,'' Ringsby tells GlobeSt.com. ''I have 17 deals in the pipeline. I'll close them all. You have to take care of your clients.''
Ringsby is leaving to head Ringsby Real Estate Corp. and to serve as president of the firm started by his father, Don. The family firm is called Ringsby Terminal. Don Ringsby formerly owned a Denver-based trucking firm, but sold it and began acquiring real estate, many of them with trucking functions. Ringsby Terminal now owns 19 properties across the country.
Sherman Miller, who heads Denver's C&W's office, tells GlobeSt.com Ringsby was one of his top brokers and he'll be missed.
''Alex had been our No. 1 industrial broker several times and one of the top five brokers at Cushman & Wakefield several times," Miller tells GlobeSt.com. ''He also had been Rookie of the Year.''
He also sat on Cushman & Wakefield's advisory board.
''You lose good people,'' Miller tells GlobeSt.com. ''But now Alex will be a client.''
For his part, Ringsby tells GlobeSt.com he has absolutely nothing bad to say about Cushman & Wakefield.
''My nine years there were just awesome,'' Ringsby tells GlobeSt.com.
