Virgin Entertainment Group Opens 40,000-sf Megastore

BOSTON-Virgin Entertainment Group is opening a Virgin Megastore here on Newbury Street near Massachusetts Avenue in the Frank Gehry building. At 40,000 sf, the store will be among the company’s larger music and entertainment retail outlets.

The store here is the company’s 22nd in the US and will offer a number of features unique to this area including an in-depth classical department and a dedicated dance and electronica Room. The store will also feature over 250,000 music titles on CDs, 20,000 movie and music titles on DVD and VHS and over 500 entertainment software titles as well as specialty book areas. The store will also house a café.
