The Rollingwood city council in November approved zoning for a 57,000-sf store in a new retail development next to the Mira Vista office building. The council, however, declined to extend the closing hour past 10 pm. The development is along Bee Cave Road, just west of South MoPac Expressway and situated in the village of Rollingwood.<p.Insiders at Rollingwood's city hall say they've heard that the store will be built, but have heard nothing official from the Boise, ID-based grocery company nor the center's developer, Cencor Urban Properties. Attempts by GlobeSt.com to reach the companies were unsuccessful.

Tom Terkel, president of Cencor Urban Properties, previously told GlobeSt.com that the leasing of the rest of the center was waiting on a decision from Albertsons. The center has 42,000 sf dedicated to shops and restaurants besides the space for the grocery store.

The retail development shares the area with a separate office development, the 125,000-sf Mira Vista building. A Live Oak Development project, the building is set to open in February.
