Ashley Laurent, which develops and sells network and security software for computer chips used in broadband equipment, leaves a small building at 707 West Ave., where its offices were upstairs from a hair salon. The West Courtyard Drive area, Ashley Laurent's new home, has been a haven for high-tech companies, counting Tivoli Systems, Concero Inc. and National Instruments as tenants in buildings. Ashley Laurent's new building owner is Origin Systems, which develops computer games.
Russell Young of Texas Commercial represented Ashley Laurent. Rick Whitely of Colliers Oxford Commercial brokered the deal for the building owner.
The three-story Bridgepoint Plaza II has 72,136 sf. Next door, Bridgepoint Plaza I has 104,150 sf spread across five stories.
