The production doubled the 2000 volume and surpassed the company's 2001 sales projection of $40 million by 51%. Seventeen of the deals last year were co-brokered. The 2001 production almost tripled the $70 million total the company did in the preceding three years.

Read anticipates the trend will continue in 2002 "as buyers continue to pursue their dreams of independence and business ownership." The company has 40 agents in Orlando, Jacksonville, Clearwater, Cocoa Beach and Boca Raton, FL.
