SquareTrade's online mediation service offers a solution to realtors to help them more quickly and easily resolve disputes and better maintain their business relationships with other realtors, according to CAR President Robert Bailey. He adds that the service meets the 2002 National Association of Realtors requirement in the Realtors Code of Ethics for all local boards to provide mediation for Realtor disputes.
SquareTrade developed the customized Realtor-to-Realtor resolution process in cooperation with CAR.
The online solution saves local associations time and resources in having to build and manage their own local mediation solution, according to SquareTrade President and CEO Steve Abernethy. He adds, the service also is tailor-made for busy realtors to quickly and cost-effectively formalize and resolve disputes.
