Austin-based Loop One develops software that helps companies manage their shipping. The company was acquired last summer by Neopost, a provider of mailing and logistics products and services based in France.
Brett Arabie of the Austin office of Colliers Oxford Commercial represented Loop One and the subleasing company, Williams Consolidated. Masco Corp., based in Taylor, MI, closed the Williams office after acquiring it from Tulsa, OK-based Williams Cos.
Arabie said Loop One, which is moving from 515 Congress Ave., isn't getting bigger space, but it's cheaper because the company won't have to pay for Downtown parking. The move also puts Loop One's employees on one floor instead of spread over two floors as they were in the CBD office building. The two-story 1201 Spyglass building is owned by a group of lawyers who occupy the first floor.
