Terms of the five-year lease have not been disclosed. The Maryland Retirement and Pension System acquired the shopping center, which is anchored by Giant Food and TJ Maxx, for $41.7 million in late 1995. "The Annapolis market offers outstanding upside growth potential for The Vitamin Shoppe, and we expect this store to experience excellent results as we continue to expand throughout this very desirable market," company director of real estate and construction Corey Bialow. This latest store marks the company's 16th location in the Washington/Baltimore metro region.
