Bryam, a distributor of home health supplies, made the decision to relocate its headquarters from Greenwich and diversify its operations due to recent strong growth. Additionally, the move offered greater value on office space while decreasing employee commutes, according to Steve Baker, a director at Cushman & Wakefield of Connecticut Inc. Baker, as well as Paul Kauffman, senior director of C& W of Connecticut represented Byram Healthcare in both transactions.

Byram relocated its corporate headquarters from 75 Holly Hill Lane in Greenwich to 6,700 sf of space at 440 Wheelers Farms Rd., a 175,852-sf building in Milford. Byram also signed an 18,000-sf lease at 120 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains. The company's operations at the 150,000-sf property will function as Bryram's new call center. The company also maintains operations in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, Colorado, Indiana and Illinois.

Commenting on the deals, Cushman & Wakefield's Baker says, "Bryam felt Milford was a good central location for their executives, many of whom lived far east of Greenwich, while White Plains made an ideal location for call center employees, many of whom live in Westchester County and rely on public transportation."

Steven Greenbush of Insignia/ESG represented the property owner, Hines Properties Inc., in the Byram corporate headquarters deal in Milford, and Glenn Walsh of Cushman & Wakefield of Westchester Inc. represented the owner of 120 Bloomingdale Rd. owner R.P.W. Associates.
