Developer Proposes Mixed-Use Project on 55-Acre Parcel

NATICK, MA-Five Seasons Country Club wants to build a residential complex and a country club here on the site of a former farm. The area is currently zoned for residential use and there is strong local opposition to allowing a commercial project to be built.

NATICK, MA-Five Seasons Country Club has proposed building a residential complex and a country club here on South Main and Rockland streets on the site of a former farm. The developer held its first public hearing on the project where many local residents registered their opposition to the proposal.

Five Seasons’s 55-acre project involves 55 residential units as well as a 120,000-sf country club that would include tennis courts, swimming pools and a banquet facility that could accommodate 300 people. The site is zoned for single-family residential use and according to Yvonne Johnson, an administrator with the town’s zoning board, the developer needs to submit an article to Town Meeting to get it rezoned.
