Good Humor Sells 105,000-SF Industrial Building

RICHMOND, VA-The former Good Humor Ice Cream building at 3031 Norfolk St. has been sold by Unilever’s Good Humor Breyers to Rent-A-Station, LLC for $175,000. A manufacturing and warehouse facility, the 105,000-sf property sits on two acres, and offers office space as well as warehouse, manufacturing and cold storage areas. The property had been listed at one point last year for $200,000.

Arlington, VA’s CORFAC International brought together The Garibaldi Group of Chatham, NJ and Richmond’s Porter Realty, Inc. to represent the property owner and the buyer, respectively. “The transaction involving an industrial facility for Good Humor Breyers in Richmond, VA by the Garibaldi Group and Porter Realty Company, Inc. is the kind of typical referral transaction that CORFAC International was created a dozen years ago to facilitate,” CORFAC executive director Tom Bennett tells GlobeSt.Com. Rent-A-Station will recreate the one-time ice cream plant as a public storage facility.
