"JDN Realty is a $1 billion company and the discussions involving any strategic relationship of this scale can only be accomplished at its own pace," Craig Macnab, president and chief executive officer, says in a prepared statement. "However, we want to remove any speculation and uncertainty surrounding the company and allow our board to determine the best course of action.
In personnel moves, JDN appointed John R. Lambert as senior vice president, director of asset management. Lambert will oversee JDN's asset management, property management, and leasing functions. Lambert joins JDN from Regency Centers where he served as senior vice president, property operations, responsible for approximately 26 million sf of retail shopping centers.
The company also announced the promotion of Andrew Rothfeder to executive vice president of JDN Development Company, Inc. Rothfeder will manage JDN Development's redevelopment program. He also will be a member of JDN's strategic management team.
