The tenant, Calico Brands, has inked a $9-million agreement to occupy the 228,423-sf building, which is located at 2055 S. Haven Ave. The new space will allow the company to expand its import-export business.

Calico Brands was represented by Bryan Miller of Lee & Associates–Orange Inc. and Jeff Smith of Lee & Associates–Ontario Inc. Ron Walshe and Mark Kegans of Grubb & Ellis acted on behalf of the lessor, Kensington-Ridge, Ontario.

According to a recent report by Grubb & Ellis Co., the Inland Empire's industrial market is attractive to both small and large users. As the report points out, the market offers users of all sizes two key advantages: "a wide range of new product as well as rental rates well below those found in other Southern California markets."
